Tackling TB among hard-to reach groups in London
What we offer
The Department of Health established Find & Treat to support the detection, diagnosis and management of TB in hard to reach groups across London. We provide screening, advice and practical assistance to TB services and allied health and social care services through:-
•A London wide Mobile digital X-ray Screening Service [how we find]
•Case management support and advice for both suspected and confirmed hard-to-reach TB cases
•Linking prison health and TB services [prison screening]
•Locating and re-engage patients who are lost to follow-up care [how we find]
•Training and advice on how best to tackle TB in hostels, day-centres, drop-ins etc [Training & Advice]
•A Peer to Peer Education programme [Peer to peer project]
